Description

Introduction

The Facilitation Practitioner course builds on the fundamental facilitation skills leaned during the Foundation course. However, ‘being a facilitator’ for a group and ‘facilitating meetings/events’ requires key skills and a deep knowledge of the principles and concepts involved.
Tony Mann has been working in the field of facilitation for over 20 years. As a result, has developed a robust methodology that provides the structure to enable specialists and managers to be able to facilitate effectively.

Application of the Process Iceberg® methodology is across a variety of organisations and scenarios. Most importantly, its pragmatic, practical approach has gained a wide range of adherents in the public, private and charity sectors, both in the UK and internationally.

Facilitation Practitioner overview

On average we spend four hours in meetings a week and deem two thirds of this unnecessary*. Topics discussed in unproductive meetings and workshops that fail to meet objectives often need revisiting, further decreasing productivity. Our Facilitation Skills Training and Certification from APMG International provides the structure to enable specialists and managers alike to facilitate groups, meetings and events. Consequently increasing productivity and helping these activities achieve the desired outcomes. Experts in the field developed the ‘Process Iceberg®’ methodology.  Above all  ensuring the training outlines a pragmatic and practical approach.
