Agile Program Management

Adopt an agile approach to program management with AgilePgM® guidance, training and certification.

The practice of program management supports organizations through significant transformation and business change. Taining and certification is based on the Agile Program Management (AgilePgM) Handbook, published by the Agile Business Consortium.

AgilePgM Guidance

The guidance provides program managers (and others involved with major business change initiatives) with a disciplined but flexible approach to the management of transformational organizational change, allowing for iterative and incremental delivery of outputs and benefits.

This approach does not attempt to redefine the fundamentals of program management however it does assume some knowledge of a program management method.

It builds on that knowledge to show how those involved in programs may need to think, act and react differently in an agile environment for instance.

• Philosophy and principles of AgilePgM
• Nature and structure of the lifecycle of an agile program
• Approaches to the governance of a program to ensure it is agile
• Essential products required to be in place to deliver an agile program
• Structure and content of planning to support agile program management
• Management and control of an agile program
• How to deliver and monitor the quality of an agile program and its associated projects
• People involved in an agile programme, how they are organized and what they contribute
• Communication and stakeholder management required within an agile program.
